Note From Pat: What follows is a brief write up from Aubrey on her experience and progress made in my 14-Day Kettlebell Fat Funeral (the final version to be released later this month). I chose to share Aubrey’s story first because 1) I think it gives you a REALISTIC expectation of the kinds of results that are actually possible in 14-days using safe, sound techniques, and 2) because her benefits have extended beyond weight loss, and are worth noting.

“Well, the 14 Day Kettlebell Fat Funeral is complete!
Except I don’t feel like I’ve been at a funeral at all! I feel fantastic!!
Over the last 14 days I have lost 6 pounds, but more importantly I have gained muscle mass, strength, and confidence! I have lost over an inch around my waist and gained tone in my arms and legs. I have learned what it feels like to be truly hungry, instead of just eating to satisfy an emotional need (not a physical one). I am sleeping through the night and enjoy being on a set schedule every day.
On day 5 I experienced an amazing mental and physical high! I felt so great! I guess I knew that I had crossed the hurdle and proven to myself that I could do this! Week 2 was definitely easier. By then I had established habits that were easy to stick too. I even made it through 5 days travelling for work and sticking with the program (my kettlebells went with me). I only surpassed the carb limit twice in that week – by no more than 20!
The one thing I have enjoyed the most about this program is how I feel – mentally and physically. I am proud of myself for sticking to the prescribed diet and exercise. I did not allow myself any excuses. It proved that I could be mentally tough, especially on days where I was feeling tired or stressed. I don’t know how many times I whispered to myself, “Mind over Matter!” I also learned that I do not need processed carbs in my life. That urge to eat something sweet after a meal disappeared after day 2. I used to get light headed late in the morning. I would feed myself with carbs and caffeine in the morning because I thought that was what I needed to get me through until lunch. I have learned that I can eat minimally in the morning and have more energy, feel less queasy, and have more mental alertness!
The most difficult part of the program was working the three work outs into the day separately. Many times I had to do them all at once, which was tough, but do-able. I also had a hard time eating the teaspoon of coconut oil. I ended up mixing it with my protein shakes to make it more palatable.
To reward me for completing the program my husband bought me two new kettlebells! 🙂 I am going to keep this up going forward – I want more results!!
Thanks for the guidance!!” – Aubrey R.
