Hey Pat, thanks for adding the new show. As a Sunday school helper (and occasional teacher), you had me as soon as I saw the title. LOL. Faith is such a challenging topic. You are 100% correct that faith is under attack and that there are misconceptions about it. I am glad you are doing apologetics training because let’s face it, Christians are always being asked about their faith, whether it’s persons looking to discredit Christianity, or people who are curious and looking for real definitions. “Merely trusting in what you have good reason to believe” is a terrific definition and as you mentioned, there’s a big difference between faith and gullibility. Looking forward to new episodes Pat!
Pat, this is really great. I truly enjoyed it and I loved you made it clear that you’re welcoming everyone and anyone to listen to what you have to share. I for one have also wondered what the true essence of the meaning of faith is, and you’ve explained it very well, in a way that I definitely know you’ve experienced yourself to have been able to explain it so well. There are many Biblical verses about faith, but I like to hear it broken down into layman’s terms. Faith can be a tricky concept to explain so thanks for sharing your perspective on it and how you approach explaining it to people.
