Tips for Getting Into Ketosis Without Going Insane
The ketogenic diet has surged in popularity recently, and many people have come to swear by it.
Now, whether or not a person SHOULD follow a ketogenic diet is a topic for another day (see the related article in the show notes section), but if you ARE following a ketogenic diet, or at least considering it, then this is the episode for you.
Pat gives 5 (or was it 6?) tips for getting into ketosis without going insane. These strategies are effective for those starting out, or even for those who are solidly veterans at this already, because these tips not only help to ease the symptoms of the dreaded “carb flu”, but may also help lend a boost to performance as well.

I’m not super familiar with the diet, but you really gave me the lowdown with the tips Pat! It’s always great to listen to someone who sincerely wants the best for you and firsthand experienced it himself. Also that I’ve just recently read your other post when you discussed more about keto (again, loved all the good references you placed in that post) so it really got me more interested. Would love to hear more of your input on this!

Thanks for the tips Pat. I’ve been through ketosis but didn’t know there are ways to avoid the carb flu. I usually get over it in a couple days but why go through it when you don’t have to. By the way, where do you find time for all your articles and podcasts? Plus you’re working on a book too, right? I don’t know if I’ll go on a ketogenic diet again, but if I do, I have many more resources to help me get into the ketosis groove.
