A Review of The 14-Day Kettlebell Fat Furnace by Dan and Tara Kerrigan
Hey all, Christine here! As we are just about at the two-week mark of the 14-Day Fat Furnace, and therefore, coming to the end of this demanding yet incredibly rewarding challenge, our inboxes has begun filling up with emails from The Bold and Daring. That is, the people who were serious enough about their health and fitness to take on the 14-Day Fat Furnace challenge. And the results so far have been AWESOME.
Two of those people, husband and wife Dan and Tara, took on the 14-Day Fat Furnace and sent in a very thorough, honest, and inspiring recap of their experiences these last two weeks. Here’s what they had to say:
We decided to try Pat’s program together. For us there were some overlapping reasons, and some that were more individually motivated, but in the end, the goal was to get results and hopefully, to start to replace some “less than healthy” lifestyle habits with some good ones.
So, it’s been about two weeks now, and we’re pleased to report that Pat’s program is everything it was advertised to be!
Our Observations:
It is a serious, difficult program. We’re not going to lie. It’s tough. If you enjoy French fries, mashed potatoes, sugar, bread, beer, potato chips, etc., it will be even tougher for you than for someone who tends toward a protein based diet. The workouts are deceivingly effective too.
It is not a super-duper lose 30 pounds and 4 dress sizes in two weeks program. There’s no such thing by the way, unless of course you give up eating and drinking…completely, and happen to contract a nasty stomach virus along the way too – and neither of those are healthy ways to lose weight. It is not easy, but it is totally achievable.
What to expect:
The first 4-5 days are the hardest. It can be a “withdraw” of sorts, depending on your current diet. Although individual reactions and results will vary, the more difficult adjustment for us was the diet changes. You will be grumpy from time to time. As you begin to see visible results and feel differences in your body’s overall “tightness”, your skepticism will wane, as will your cravings for carbohydrates, as Tara reports. For us, after about 4-5 days, our bodies and minds had adjusted to the dietary changes, and we found that the routine became fairly normal.
The Results:
The results were exactly as predicted. Tara lost about 8 pounds. She also lost at least an inch off her waist and saw a visible reduction in belly fat. She was wearing pants a size smaller within 3-4 days of starting the program. Visible weight loss for her also showed up around her neck and chin, and she reported an overall feeling of firmness in her biceps, triceps, butt, legs, belly and chest.
I lost about 5 pounds and also saw obvious changes in body composition in the neck and chin area as well as in my torso (mainly the “love handles”), but a definite slimming of my belly overall. I have been working out with Pat for about three years now and training with kettlebells regularly. I still saw rapid improvements in overall body composition and increases in strength.
We absolutely encourage you to take a shot at this. As we said, it’s difficult. It’s not for everyone, but the bottom line is, the results are real, and they are accurately described by Pat from the outset.
Good luck and happy training!
The 14-Day Kettlebell Fat Furnace–Free Online Training
So I’m putting on another live training (it’s free), on June 5th, for the 14-Day Kettlebell Fat Furnace. And this time, because enough people requested it, I’m running it twice in one day, to make it more accessible.
CLICK HERE to register for the 8pm (eastern) webinar.
OR
CLICK HERE to register for the 1pm (eastern) webinar.
This training is pretty advanced, and lines out the entire 14-Day Kettlebell Fat Furnace. All you need to do is follow the instructions I lay out, and get awesome results.
NOTE: this is my most aggressive fat loss protocol, and is NOT for beginners. Really, you need to be somewhat fit already, and already have a (somewhat) healthy diet, otherwise this is going to be way to much.
And please don’t register unless you can make one of the times, otherwise you might lock someone else out. That said, if you can make one of the times be sure to register immediately because both of these will fill up, and quickly, too. If you have any questions, please drop them below.

Oh my goodness Pat!!! I did the “do this instead of burpees” complex this AM…WIPED OUT! Proudly made it through a set of 5 with the 24k’s, which is a testimony to your coaching…but alas, one round was all I felt safe with. For the remainder of the 15 or so minutes I did sets of the complex as I normally would do your prescribed strength regimen (1,2,3, and 1,2,3).
Man I was incredibly pumped from this, but definitely Out Of Gas. You have sucessfully knocked the burpee out of me!!
Peace to you my brother.
