Intensity is my favorite variable. I like to go hard in everything I do. Dive in, head first, and leave nothing in the tank – that’s my motto, alright. Or was, until I learned consistency trumps intensity, every time.
You’ll do better with fifteen minutes of exercise five times a week than you will with one crazy mother of a workout once a week. That’s just how it goes.
You’re also better off meditating ten minutes a day than two hours twice a week. Same with guitar. And writing. And with everything else I know how to do, this one rule applies: Shorter, more consistent sessions (hint: PSW) bring greater focus and results, every time.
