A few weeks back, I got a note from SG saying he bought The Fat Funeral and he was diving in. To that I said, “Good luck. See you on the other side!” You see, The Fat Funeral ain’t for the faint o’ heart. It’s a tough couple of weeks, both for the body and the mind. But finish it? And you’ll be stronger, leaner, tougher. As Pat has said, it’s only two weeks. Anybody can do anything for two weeks. It’s still really hard, though.
But then, two weeks later, the email came in. SG had finished. He’d gone through the fiery hell of the Fat Funeral and came out considerably leaner than when he had started.
His dedication to the process was exemplary and that shone through in his results. Reading his email, I knew that his experience with the Fat Funeral was one worth sharing. So here we are.
Normally, SG trains with a personal trainer twice a week to keep him accountable (yes! This is what hiring a coach can do, besides giving you workout ideas and pushing you, they can keep you accountable and moving forward). The other days of the week involve at-home training sessions with kettlebells, dumbbells, and bodyweight.
But something was missing. There were a few pounds of fat that were stubborn in coming off.
Enter: The Fat Funeral.
“14 day fat funeral sounded like a pretty intense couple of weeks, and it was! It was a good opportunity to try something different, pushing up the intensity and dropping a few pounds”
Starting Weight: 179 lbs; 21.0% body-fat
Ending Weight: 167 lbs and 18.2% body fat
Total Change… Lost 12 lbs and 2.8% body fat! That’s very impressive and clearly shows his dedication and work ethic. Pat’s programs work, so long as you do the work, and SG certainly did.
As you can see, he started out looking pretty lean, but at the end of the weeks, he still dropped some weight and got more muscly. Besides the fat loss, SG noted that he slept great, joints feel springy first thing in the morning, and increased mental toughness. Getting through the 14 days is no joke, and SG excelled.
After reading through his results and chatting with him. I asked, what’s next? He said: Keep going. Keep capitalizing on the gains made and the weight lost. That means he’ll be doing The 90-Day Extended Fat Funeral Program, with the goal of continuing to lose fat and build muscle. Can he do it? After seeing his commitment, enthusiasm, and results from the first 14 days, I’d wager that’s a big YES.
It’s not only The 14-Day Fat Funeral that gets results. Pat’s newly revamped Inner Circle, which features all his best, ongoing programs, including Pocket-Sized Programming (metabolic and strength work), Minimalist Workouts, weekly motivations, quarterly challenges, recipes, and more!, is available NOW. Great job, SG! That certainly is impressive work!
Best of luck (not that you’ll need it…obviously…) for the next 90-days!
