Hi, I’m Pat Flynn: Minimalist. Generalist. Kettlebell Mad Scientist.
I believe fitness should be a part of your life, not your life. This balance comes through effective and efficient kettlebell workouts that require minimal equipment and time combined with simple, realistic eating plans that you will actually enjoy. The result? Pure awesomeness.
A lot of folks think that the only way to look, feel, and perform amazingly requires countless hours spent in the gym and horrendous amounts of time and energy dieting. They bounce from one program to another, never committing to one long enough to see lasting results. And slog through the day, counting down the minutes until they can eat again, only to be left feeling empty, agonizing over calories or, worse, bingeing to overcome their hunger and diet fatigue.
It isn’t the healthiest mindset. And it certainly is not the most effective approach to fitness.
Rather, I’m somewhat of a contrarian:
- I don’t think you need to spend hours a week working out.
- I don’t think you need to count every last calorie.
But I’m also realistic:
- You’re not gonna get six-pack abs doing crunches six minutes a day.
- You’re not gonna be able to make your fat loss goals if you’re yo-yoing in and out of [insert whatever the latest diet fad is here].
Oh and call me crazy, but I think fitness should be a blend of seriousness and fun, rigidity and flexibility. Holding these aspects in healthy tension, I believe, is the key to sustainable success.
If you’re nodding your head, then I want to welcome you.
And if you’re not quite sure how to fit these seemingly contradictory ideas into a seamless, simple fitness program, then you, my friend,
are in the right place.
I’ve trained thousands of people from all over the world and from every walk of life: U.S. Special Forces, Olympic and professional athletes, everyday Jacks and Janes looking to get in amazing shape so they can keep up with their kids and grandkids, you name it, I’ve trained them.
I’m a best-selling author of multiple books, a Top 100 Fitness Podcaster in multiple countries, and a martial artist with a black belt around my waist. I’ve traveled all over giving workshops and talks on topics ranging from fitness to philosophy, and I’m a regular guest on television and radio.
At the time I received it, I was the youngest person to pass the Russian Kettlebell Certification (RKC). I’ve been around the kettlebell and fitness business for 15 years, and I’ve put my experience to work…
I’m the founder of Strong ON!, the minimalist kettlebell and bodyweight program for anyone interested in achieving faster fat loss, serious muscle building, and never-say-die endurance in the least amount of time necessary with the least amount of equipment needed.
All of my work is rooted in the principles that I’ve developed over the years to elicit regular, repeatable, and awesome results.
These principles of success in fitness (and in life) include:
And as you can see for yourself, they do produce awesome results…

Whether you’re a kettlebell novice, a long-time kettlebell enthusiast, or land somewhere in between, I’m glad you’re here, and I look forward to learning more about you and how I can help.
As for me, I’ll just be over here, playing Kirby’s Adventure with my five children, dating my wife of 10 years, and reliving my youth as a ’90s kid. Oh and, of course, swinging kettlebells, downing protein shakes, shredding on the guitar, eating sushi, and serving the Lord.
