A lot of people have asked me to share a bit more on my experience of coming into the Christian faith – what persuaded me, how has it affected my life, and in what ways I’ve presented it to others.
I get this episode won’t be appealing to everyone, which is why I’m making it a bonus on top of our usual programming. That said, if you’re a Christian, or even just mildly curious about the faith, I think you’ll find this episode intriguing.
If you enjoy, let me know, and I’ll go ahead with Part 2.

Pat, we’ve had this discussion about Christianity in some of your other blogs and shows. I think there are many misconceptions about Christianity out there that keep people from looking into it. For me, the biggest deterrent has always been differentiating between Christianity and man-made religion. Now people may say, Christianity, that’s just another religion. No, it’s not. Living the Christian life isn’t about going to a particular church, praying certain prayers, or observing holidays (although church attendance, prayer, and holidays are a good way to fellowship and/or get close to God. Christianity is about living a Christ-like life where people can see Christ in you when you abide by His teachings. The Christian life can be so fulfilling if people would only look into it. Pray to God to direct you to a good church where you can be discipled and learn about the Word of God. Once you find a good church, you’ll never look back.

I’ve definitely enjoyed it myself, and I would love to listen to a Part 2. In true essence, if one understands everything in the deepest sense, Christianity is more a lifestyle than it is a religion. You’ve made such a meaningful discussion about this Pat, I hope people who are hesitant would at least take a listen. I’m truly amazed by your journey and in awe of how everything has molded you into who you are now. Keep being awesome, Pat! It has always suited you. 🙂
